Happy 2019!! ūü•āūüéČ

Happy New Year!

I hope all had a wonderful holiday season and are excited for the New Year. I’ve got lots of adventures and projects planned for 2019 and I can’t wait to share them with you!

Can you believe this was shot on an iPhone?? I photographed the fireworks on New Year’s Eve at our local Fernandina Shrimp Drop. One project I worked on in 2018 was learning how to shoot better photos with my iPhone. I’ve really enjoyed learning iPhone photography and have managed to get some pretty cool shots.

This month’s desktop wallpaper is one of my favorite photos from 2018.¬†I shot this from the back of the M/V Uncle Oscar while riding out to Star Island in the Isles of Sholes in New Hampshire. The boat was completely surrounded by the early morning fog and all you could see was the interesting wave pattern that was being created from the wake of the boat. Fortunately, by the time we reached the Island, the fog had started to lift and I was able to get some great photos of the nearby lighthouse and Gosport Village. I find this photo peaceful and relaxing, perfect for after all the holiday craziness.

The Holidays are Here and so is the December Wallpaper!

Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Happy Kwanzaa!

The holidays are upon us and it’s my favorite time of year. This Christmas will be my first ever spent in Florida. We normally travel to New Hampshire and Maine over the holidays to visit my family, but this year my sister, who also lives here in Florida, is due to have my third nephew, Carson, on January 4th. More than likely, he’s expected to arrive sometime in December so we’re hunkering down for his imminent arrival!

The¬†Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupr√© is about a twenty-minute drive from the center of Quebec City. ¬†Saint Anne is the Virgin Mary’s mother and grandmother to Jesus. Saint Anne is also the patron saint of Quebec. Many healing miracles have been reported at the church.

Point Judith Lighthouse at Sunrise, Narragansett, Rhode IslandHappy Fall Y’all as my Southern friends would say! It’s still miserably hot down here in Florida and is not feeling like Fall at all. I noticed people were bundled up during the last Red Sox game in Boston and I’m extremely jealous. I’m so ready for the cooler temps!!
